The Who's Who of From The Penthouse

Patrick Shaw

Producer-Songwriter Patrick Shaw is the creator and host of From the Penthouse and the host of the pod casts. His varied background includes producing, writing and performing rock, pop, hip hop, R&B, jazz and Classical music.

He got his start in the business by getting his first two bands signed to Arista before moving on to work in the labels and then onto producing and writing. He has also scored music for commercial and indie films and networks like MTV and NBC. He has also toured the world as a bass player and has appeared as a performer on dozens of albums. Patrick has worked with artists on major labels like Geffen, Arista, Decca and Universal as well as several indie artists and labels.



Christina LaRocca

Singer-Songwriter and promoter Christina LaRocca is an Assistant Producer on the series and handles the majority of the bookings and artist relations. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Christina has been a force on the New York music scene since she began playing open mics in college.

Now Christina heads one of the city’s best known bands, the funky-pop quintet Heavy Weather, which she has recorded 2 albums with and tours with regularly.










Jillian Kelleher

Jillian Kelleher is the head of Tainted Blue’s Media Relations and is the Studio Manager. She helps organize the show’s artists and secures our vendors and sponsors.

A natural networker with a passion for music and songwriting Jillian has a remarkable background in Entertainment Marketing & Public Relations having worked as a senior publicist in the lifestyle division of 5W Public Relations and was pivotal in launching AMP3 PR. She also serves as the co-founder of a successful new music blog called E.M.P.T.





Louis Follo

Louis Follo is one of Tainted Blue’s house engineers and is the Head Engineer of From the Penthouse. Every performance day Louis sets up and monitors all the equipment during tracking and then later mixes and masters it all.

Hailing originally from Connecticut Louis has been writing, tracking and mixing music since High School in a range of genres including folk, punk, rock, country and hip-hop. He graduated from Full Sail University with an Associate Degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelor Degree in Entertainment Business.




Belt

Belt is the mascot band of From the Penthouse. They open every show with a welcome song and band members Terrence B and Mike Bell help host the event.

A Brooklyn-based rock quintet their sound has been compared to everything from "Simon and Garfunkel getting the crap kicked out of them by Led Zeppelin" to the "Beatles chopping up Radiohead with Dave Matthew's chainsaw. They have recorded 2 albums and tour nationally on a routine basis.







Paul Munoz
Paul Munoz is one of the members of Belt and is an Assistant Producer on the series. Paul helps book the series and helps handle band relations, stage design and is our go-to guy for when something needs fixing. Paul, a Long Beach transplant to NYC, has been singing and writing music since High School. He performs with several professional ensembles and tours regularly with them when he is not busy with Belt.










Matthew McCorkle

Matthew McCorkle is one of Tainted Blue's house engineers and is an Assistant Engineer for From the Penthouse. On FtP tracking days Matthew is responsible for running the FoH, the sound in the performance space itself as well as helping set up and break down the studio.

A Wisconsin transplant Matthew has engineered projects at Tainted Blue ranging from string quartet tracking to mixing Hip. At Tainted Blue he has notable acts as Papa Roach, Boys like Girls, Tiffany Giardina, Maxim Digital and Blender.com.


Virginia Kamenitzer

Photographer Virgina Kamenitzer is our show photographer and takes the majority of the pictures in our online photos page. She has shot hundreds of music events from major label artists to dingy bar blues shows.

Virginia runs her own photography studio in Hoboken, Paul Vincent Studio, where she regularly hosts gallery showings and other art events. She has also performed at FtP as the front-woman for the Radio Galaxy. Check out Virgina’s professional portfolio -- vkpictures
